Recognized Stakeholder Agreement between ETICS and EA

On Wednesday 25th May 2016 in Windsor, UK, at the EA General Assembly, during an official signing ceremony Thomas FACKLAM, President of EA and Pierre de Ruvo, Secretary General & CEO of ETICS have signed an Agreement entitling ETICS to become a Recognized Stakeholder of EA.

 

EA the “European co-operation for Accreditation” – which is the Association of nationally recognised Accreditation Bodies of the Member States of the European Union (EU) and of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the European Inspection Testing and Certification System (ETICS) have signed an Agreement by which ETICS has been recognised by EA as a Recognized Stakeholder.

 The status of Recognized Stakeholder will entitle ETICS to:

  • attend meetings of the EA General Assembly
  • participate in the work of Technical Committees, Working Groups and Task Forces of EA
  • be granted with appropriate level of access to the EA Intranet
  • contribute to the development of EA documentation, providing inputs and comments, although not being entitled to vote on their approval
  • arrange joint cultural/educational initiatives, such as conferences, seminars, workshops, training courses and other pertinent activities
